Missy concert!

WOW!!! Christian and I hit the road with some friends and went to Aspen Colorado to my favorite singers concert. MISSY HIGGINS! Christian asked one of the band members if I could meet her so we grabbed her when she was walking off stage after a song and she was totally cool letting us take pictures. If you haven't heard her music I highly suggest that you do at missyhiggins.com. She's even better live. It was one of the coolest trips ever!!! And a dream come true.

TITAN

We went on a pretty intense hike with Titan and when we got to the top (not knowing how we were going to get down) we decided to do to Titan what Rafiki did to Simba. It was a spiritual moment. Ha ha

This little boy made me this mask! He ran a little wood shop at the wood district. These people are skilled!

I'm going to be making a slide show of my trip to put on the blog soon. So keep checking back. This is Silvia, she's deaf and blind and amazing. We sign in her hands and she understands every word. I was there in 2005 and she totally remembered who I was. What an experience.

My favorite days were the last two. The meetings were over and we were able to spend the days with the deaf students of Mampong Ghana. We teach them what we can, but it usually turns out that they teach me! These are my boys!

We had a world wide meeting and I was lucky enough to be a part of it. The goal of the meeting was to promote having the teachers of the deaf schools teach in sign language! We made a lot of progress and it went really well!

All the exhaust was making me sick. We had to spend the first few days in the city.
