Life Lately
Last year my family started planning big summer vacation. We decided we would go up to the Calgary stampede, over to Banff (a quaint little town located way up in the mountains of Canada) and then to Couer d' Alene Idaho to do some boating. I could not wait for this trip. I love rodeos and to be able to go to one of the greatest ones ever was surely going to be a treat. I Graduated with my Bachelors in Behavioral Science (Social Work) in June (I know, I know, you all voted me least likely to even go to college in High School but I did it). So I was getting ready for a new job. Christian was actually just starting summer school at BYU so we both started questioning if we would be able to attend. Being the determined little gal that I am, I basically told my new job I would be leaving and they were okay with it. Christian wasn't so lucky. His teachers all told him he would bascially fail the class if he went (Trig and Chem aren't great classes to get behind in). So long story short my sweet husband was only able to fly up Friday after school, see some of Banff and drive down to Idaho, get some wake boarding in, and flew home Monday. We're just lucky he was able to come up at all though. The following are pictures we took on our trip. Stupidly I didn't get any pics of the Calgary stampede. It's a long story but basically we went to the rodeo which was amazing.......ly cold. But it was still a hoot. Then we ended up getting rained out so we cut that trip short and drove to Banff. Summer vacations with the fam always make the best of memories.
Most Beautiful
Um... I'm not sure if I should explain this picture or just let it stand on its own. Okay I'll explain. Christian decided to pick the fur off some trees while we were descending from our hike. He freaked me out when he caught up to me! But then he left it in there while we hike down and passed a huge tour bus of Asians who were freaked out and couldn't take their eyes off of him while he just acted normal. It was embarrassing but quite funny. The top picture is a picture of me and my little sissy Micah in front of a huge ice climbing tour bus.
