I love this picture of my oldest brother Matt and my two nieces. Matt is such an amazing guy and is always reminding me that he loves me and that he sees certain talents and strengths in me that i don't even think about. He's a great example of unconditional love. He's always doing all he can to help me believe in myself and my capabilities. He's always taking interest in me and what and how I'm doing. Thanks Matt, for being such an amazing brother and friend. Sure do love ya!

Not even just a year ago her pictures would have been considered just average. But she wanted to be amazing at it, so she bought a camera, took an online class, and is taking amazing pictures! TITAN

I know this isn't my best shot ever. It was early in the morning and I had just woken up. I was sitting next to Christian who was on the computer. Titan hates to not be a part of the family so when he heard us talking he came racing upstairs and plopped down right on my lap. He always has to be near you, and if you're sitting on the floor he has to be touching you. When Christian kneels down for prayer you better believe Titan in right there laying across his legs!

Okay so in the morning Christian lets Titan out of his dog kennel before he leaves for work and school. I'm usually still asleep when he leaves. Titan always runs up to our bedroom and sleeps next to me on the floor.

So one morning I woke up to his horrible loud snoring. Then I saw him laying on the floor asleep, like this! Oh man it was so funny. He stayed like that for about 5 minutes. Totally dead asleep. Good times.

Clearly Christian and I had a killer Halloween party to attend at the Longneckers so we had to look our very best! And needless to say, we did.

Happy Birthday Baby!!! Today was Christians birthday. We had a great day together and it was perfect that his birthday was on a Saturday this year cause that meant that we got to spend all day together. The highlight of the day was going to Market Street Grill for dinner!!! It's a tradition that on our birthdays we go to dinner there so that way we get to go there at least two times a year. Get this, tonight we had, between the two of us, an 8oz top sirloin steak, a wonderful dish of talapia fish, bread, salad, and 4 of the most amazing crab legs ever!!! Our meal reached a grand total of $135!!! But Christian and I only paid a total of $50!!! Hahahaha. It's true. We belong to the Gastronomy club where we don't pay a thing and they send us coupons and "half offs" in the mail when its our birthday. And yes, those who were doubting us, we did eat it all!!! It was so amazing. Then we went to his parents house where we had cup cakes and opened presents. As you will notice in the picture, Christian got the coolest shoe's he has ever owned thanks to me and my Mom!! I love you CHRISH. You are quite a guy. Thanks for being born!!!!

Catch up

I figured since my blog has been a lot of boring reading lately I would redeem myself a little but and put some pictures up. We have been slacking on taking pics lately so there aren't many yet. This first one is of me and Joshua Radin. We met him at a Missy Higgins concert. He opened for her and he's super great. So great that Ellen flew him in to her wedding so he would do a private concert for her and her wife...or husband...no Porshe has got to be the wife right? Anyway check him out on i tunes if you haven't heard his stuff yet, (AMBER!!) he's great. Then we have a picture of Missy Higgins. It clearly didn't turn out but i thought it was still a groovy picture, no? Last we have the infamous TITAN! I told you he always sleeps in odd positions. He drug his doggy pad out of his awesome dog house and situated it all awkward as shown below, and fell asleep. Oh he's too much fun! The real scare was tonight when he brought my worse nightmare, a mouse, in and laid it on the floor next to me while i was cooking dinner!!!! Needless to say, i lost my appetite and screamed like a little baby. Even worse is Christian wasn't even home yet!!! Oh man it was gross. But after having been to Africa twice I learned you should never let precious meat go to waste. So when i got done screaming like a sissy, i scooped it up and cooked it with our meal. Yummy! *Warning: Sarcasm!!!*

Nu Skin and the Galvanic Spa

Christian and I have finally found something in this struggling economy that has helped boost our spirits and our bank accounts. Laugh if you would like, we did too at first, but it is through Nu Skin. First of all if you know anything about Nu Skin you would know that YES it is multilevel and NO it is not a pyramid scheme. The way we got started in this is actually a neat story that I won't take the time to discuss, but it was a blessing for us. When we went to a demo and saw this new product they have, we decided we were willing to do what it took to start our own business. We got involved in one of the most successful organizations at nu skin where our up lines meet with us at least two times a week doing demos and to help us with anything we need. Two of the young gentlemen we work with are brothers who are 28 and 27 years old. They are extremely hard workers who are now currently making over a million a year and STILL are willing to drive down to Saint George for us just for a day to do a demo on our contacts who are interested in this new product. They have committed 90% of their time to our organization and now we, and everyone doing this with us, are benefiting greatly. It has been such a blast for Christian and I and it has been a lot of work. We have decided since we have tested the waters for 2 months and are seeing pretty cool results we trust this enough to tell all the people we love about it. Christian and I are big believers in "The Laws of Attraction". Now because of Nu Skin and the goals we have set and accomplished, in December Christian will be able to quit his job and focus more on school while doing this on the side.

This is why I shouldn't do these...I get carried away and learn stuff about myself that even I didn't know. Spooky. Like Halloween.

I DONT UNDERSTAND: Math and psychotic disorders. I've studied them a lot, but I still don't get it. How come Schizophrenia usually doesn't manifest itself till early to mid 20s? So your just livin a normal life and then all of the sudden you turn 24 and your living Bobs life, and Jans life, and who is that big bunny Harvey? Seriously, it's crazy stuff and I want to find the cure. Cause it's as real as cancer and as scary as...cancer.
I CAN USUALLY BE FOUND: At work with Dr. Corry as he orders me to do 100 things at once. "Go do a vasectomy on that patient, and get the labs for this patient, and twirl around ten times and then run down the hall as fast as you can!"- yup, and that's what I have to put up with. And I love every minute of it.

"Ain't no society like Relief Society!!!" -Julie Beck (jk, she never really said that. But I'm sure she thinks that!!!)

So I would like to tell you about a great experience!!! I left for work last Friday as fast as I could. In my hurry everyone started asking why I was rushing to clean up and finish. When I replied that I was going to a relief sociery retreat up to the Heber Valley Camp 2 or 3 of them replied "Oh, I'm so sorry! haha". To which I replied "I'm the one whose sorry, sorry that you feel that way about relief society, and sorry that you can't come with us!" And after going up there I really was sorry that not all the wards get such a great opportunity! In all honesty it was one of the neatest things ever. I have been in my ward for almost 6 months and I literally know about 3 couples names. After we went up to this retreat I now know almost all the women in the ward!
I guess I better explain what a relief society retreat is since most wards don't do it... Our relief society pres decided it would be a good idea to plan a weekend camp out in some cabins up at Heber Valley camp. So the women who needed to found babysitters and we went up to the camp friday night. I now know why Pres. Gordon B. Hinkley said that place is a temple in the mountains. It was amazing to see the leaves changing. Friday night we had a play called "The Ten Virgins". I got to be a narrator with 2 other awesome girls and we all had to sing throughout the play. It turned out really well. Then the next day we did a ropes course. It was awesome and had a zip line and everything. What a blast. But the best part is that I got to know so many of these girls. It was amazing to see the younger sides of all these women. The ladies were playing jokes on each other, (not me of course...) and we played apples to apples until 12:30. At 2:15 people started settling to bed. There were four cabins of women and somehow I picked the out of control one...imagine that. Just as the cabin would get quiet someone would yell out something and the whole cabin would start giggling. My fav comment when it got real quiet and someone was almost asleep was "GO DEMOCRATS!" This sure got a good laugh and riled the cabin up. (not to mention I made that comment- and no I'm not really a democrat, and no I'm not making fun of people who are.) Anyway all in all it was fun, spiritual, and just over all amazing. I made so many friends and it was a hoot! So if you are in the presidency of a relief society, or you know someone who is, set it up! It will change your relief society for the better!!!!

I know this picture is blurry but I chose it because I think it depicts the situation really well. It was about 1 am, I was confused, Susan was tired, and everyone in the cabin (all 15 of us) were wondering how all of us older, mature relief society was still up on a friday night laughing and giggling out of control, with practical jokes left and right. The blurriness of the picture shows how we all felt, drunk with severe headaches (drunk from goofiness that is).There is no doubt in my mind that this was way more out of control than any girls camp I ever went to! (And I went to all of them). It was sooooo much fun!!!!

I'm sorry about all the pictures on my post. I just prefer telling our stories through pics as opposed to typing it all up. So Forgive me for all the pictures. Anyway this weekend we went up to a friends wedding dinner up at snowbird. We decided to go up a night early and stay there at the lodge. As you can tell by the sunset behind us it was beautiful. When we woke up we went on a hike to Ceceret Lake up Little Cottonwood canyon. Before the wedding dinner we parked outside and listened the the BYU game in the car while we changed from our hiking clothes into our best dress. It would have been quite the site if anyone happened to see us in the middle of changing cheering and hi-fiving...I'm just hoping they didn't.

Mmmmm....

We're goofy. What more can I say. I just hope this post doesn't draw too many outsiders to view my blog. I don't know if it could take any more hits! (Very sarcastic there...)
