Western

First of all, my Mom got me the most wonderful Cowgirl hat for my birthday. And yes, it's a Stetson! So naturally my Dad and I had to test it out and go on a ride. Oh and we also were testing out his new horse! He's a fox trotter and boy can he move! It was a blast. Thanks Mom and Dad! The pic below is of me and my fearless niece Mya. She isn't afraid of anything. I swear! She'd jump on and ride a horse by herself if she could. A little while ago she jumped right in the pool by herself. She asks her Dad to put on his Halloween masks and scare everyone, and, my personal favorite, she sleeps in the basement alone! AND LVOES IT. Oh man, she's great.

Summer Since India

It's been quite a busy summer people. Right after India we departed on a family vacation! Christians parents rented out a beach house with some other families and we were lucky enough to be invited!
This is my birthday. I spent it all alone.
No just kidding, I spent it with my wonderful husband, inlaws, and about 20 other people I didn't know. They just came down for treats. Can't blame em. But I don't know what's worse. Spending your birthday alone, or spending it with 20 people you don't know who are just trying to use you. Just kidding. Settle down.
Christian took me to this wonderful breakfast place for my birthday. Just he and I! It was called "Pete's" and it was in Ventura. It was the best breakfast place either of us had ever been to. Organic and fresh! While we were at breakfast my in-laws decorated the house for me!
Since it was too cold and windy to do a ton of stuff out on the beach the boys found ways to keep themselves entertained but jumping off the wall into a sand pit.
And no, your eyes aren't deceiving you! Little miss "scared of heights and and practically everything else" jumped off as well. Way to be champ.
This is just cool, it looks like he's diving in to the ocean. I mean, he is.
I just can't think of the right caption for this photo. I don't think words are necessary.
We went to Disneyland one day and let me just tell you, it was NOT the happiest place on earth. They lie. I didn't even see Mickey Mouse. Man that place is so much cooler when you're little. I should have never gone back and just left my memories the way they were.
It IS a small world after all! My best friend from college was on the boat in front of us! No, just kidding, but wouldn't that be so ironic if you saw some random person that you hadn't seen in forever while on this ride? That would have made it a lot more cool!
We built a sandcastle. It looks cooler than it is and we look cooler than we are. Except for Tanner, he really is that cool!

It's not as bad as it looks...

It's worse.

I assume you want to know the story? Well here goes. Christian was doing touch up paint in one of our rooms in our house. He ran downstairs for a few minutes and left a gallon of white paint on our ironing board. We also had a kitchen chair (not pictured) that was right next to the ironing board. When he went downstairs I came into the room and sat on the chair. Little did I know the chair was pushed up against the ironing board. I heard a thud behind me and turned around to see the gallon of white paint all over the walls, the carpet, and worst of all, it got all over Christians favorite $300 suit that we got for him on his honeymoon! The suit was sitting on the ironing board as well. So... BAM! There you have it. And the best part you ask? The best part is that we are supposed to have our house spotless and some people are supposed to come by and take pictures of it which is why Christian was touching the paint up. This picture was taken after we had cleaned most of it up too.

Captions. The thoughts behind the photos.

Gold fish does NOT taste the same as sushi Dad. Gag me!
Hello! And welcome to the great outdoors.
Mya: "Really? Your trying to distract my by taking a picture when I'm driving a boat? Do YOU need a timeout Mom?"
Monkey: "You idiot, I just stole your breakfast and you think that's cute?"
Chrish: "Don't do this guys. Not here. Not like this."
African Child: "You better hold on tighter cause imma bout to break loose and destroy everything!"
Spider: "I'm not quite sure why they think there is room in this house for the both of us? I'm huge! Maybe if I climb around the wall really fast and then disappear they will freak out and leave."
Autumn: "Well clearly my water bottle isn't to blame because it's still full...so you do the math."
Me: "I'm fairly confident I could eat all these by myself. Sure. It's nothing I haven't done before."
Me: "Hey Mo, lets pose for the camera, look over there... SIKE!" and POW, she dead.
Christian: "I'm pretty sure she won't be able to find me behind this St. Louis arch. She's been following me around all week."
Me: "Oh crap, I lost Christian. I'm sure he's looking for me everywhere."

Blast from the Past!

Look at that face. How could you resist? I couldn't, therefore I didn't.
Me and Gent. Thanks Gent, for always letting me lean on your shoulder. Although you don't look too excited about it.
And me and Gent again. Best friends since day 1. Well day 11 for me, day one for Gent.
Christians Dad, he still carries him around this way when we go visit. It's cute.

Preference junior year. And guess who I picked for my date?
Basketball camp sophomore year!
Efy, some year.
That same Basketball camp. I was bullied in to doing this. You can probably tell by my face.
